Discover Freediving 1 Day Course
The inclusive introduction to freediving.
This one-day course is a great way to experience freediving, going over basic and essential elements of freediving, consisting of a theory session, a pool session and an ocean session. Each course has a maximum of four students.
The prerequisites for the course are:
200m swim test
PADI Freediver Medical Questionnaire
12+ years of age
Students who complete the Discover Freediving course are invited to take another course with Freedive Tasmania with a $100 discount!
This course is equivalent to a AIDA Level 1 Freediving Course.
Refund Policy
- A full refund is given if the course is cancelled.
- A full refund is given if cancelling or rescheduling a course 8 days or more from the date of your course.
- A 75% discount on the next course is given if rescheduling more than 3 days before the date of your course.
- A 50% refund is given if cancelling more than 3 days before the date of your course.

This course is invaluable to anyone new to free diving! I took this course to build my confidence in the water and improve my spear fishing, but I gained so much more. Kaeo is an extremely generous with his knowledge and has a knack for teaching in a fun and playful manner. In terms of value this is a straight up bargain. I'm definitely coming back for an advanced course!
